[Journal Club] Renormalisation scale setting for D-mixing

Hiroyuki Umeeda

For D meson mixing, it is known that the heavy quark expansion cannot explain the order of magnitude for the experimental data. In this work, it is shown that this mismatch is explainable if one adopts renormalisation scales different for individual quark’s contributions. This setting does not affect other observables such as a lifetime ratio of D meson, while an error range of the semi-leptonic CP asymmetries of B meson decay is enlarged.
